An interesting argument for PC Gaming

There is always one thing that PC Gaming will have over console, and that's the ability to put out a free online game with multiplayer support. Realistically it should be something that consoles cold do easily, but you probably aren't going to see a developer making a title for free. Which is definitely why it's wierd when Ubisoft takes one of their big titles and makes a free online version.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online is a third person shooter set in the near future. First EA launched Battlefield Play4Free, now Ubisoft, considered the third big developer, is doing the same with this upcoming game. Beta should be opening soon, and for a game that being built to run on a range of systems and is free, it's not looking to bad.

Either way, it's an offering more developers should invest in.
