Kill to win!

This was an interesting article from Kotaku.

This girl is in some ways an inspiration for gamers, and at the same time a warning to be mindful of the obsession. It is rare though to see women gamers take it to this extreme, since we are so used to the stereotype of guys being the overly obsessive ones when it comes to gaming and competition.

If you have the power in your computer, I would recommend picking up a copy of (at least) Team Fortress 2. If you can get the whole Half-Life 2 package with Portal, both episodes and TL2 then do that. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

TF2 is one of the most balanced games I've ever played. Most times you jump into pvp situation (and make no mistake this is pure pvp) there seems to be that will this team balance, or is there one character type that is vastly out of balance with the others, and that's not the case here. The team at Valve have gone to extraordinary length to make sure that the characters/professions in this game are very balanced with each other, so the person/team with the best skill will win.

That said, there is a new update coming out, with a reward for the profession that kills the most of the other. Jump in and play Demoman and kill Soldiers, or vice versa to help decide which profession will end up with the reward. The War depends on you!
